How to cash out your rewards
Turn available points from games, surveys and offers into a gift card, PayPal or Venmo. Here is what to check before your first cashout.
Available rewards and minimums
1,000 points = $1.00 when redeemed. Points have no cash value until redeemed. All amounts below are in US dollars.
- Global Gift Card$5.00 minimumUp to $1,000.00. By GoGift: pick a gift card from their brand catalog, in many countries. Whole dollars, valid 2 years.
- PayPal$5.00 minimumUp to $1,000.00. Sent to the PayPal account for the email you give.
- Venmo$5.00 minimumUp to $1,000.00. US only. Sent to the Venmo account for the phone number you give.
For a Global Gift Card, check the brands available in your country in GoGift’s catalog before choosing one. PayPal and Venmo cashouts go to the account you name, so give the email or phone number on that account. Your Wallet shows the current options.
From earned points to a delivered reward
- Complete the listed requirements. Start from Volcano Rewards and follow the offer’s steps and time limits.
- Wait for points to become available. Partner rewards may be pending while they clear. Your Wallet shows release dates; pending points cannot be cashed out.
- Verify your account. You need a verified email address and phone number. Additional account checks or tax information may be required before a payout can proceed.
- Choose how to be paid and how much in your Wallet. Give your full name, and the email or US mobile number to send it to.
- Watch for our email. We send each cashout by hand and email you when it’s sent. A Global Gift Card then arrives by email from GoGift; PayPal and Venmo cashouts show in that account.
How long does a cashout take?
We send every cashout by hand, usually within 2 business days. Some get a quick extra check first, which can take a little longer. Your Wallet shows the status of each request, and we email you when it’s sent.
A Global Gift Card arrives by email from GoGift. PayPal and Venmo cashouts go straight to the account you name.
The time for earning points to clear is separate from cashout review and delivery.
What happens to points during a cashout?
The points for your request are set aside while the payout is processed, so they cannot be spent twice. If a request is cancelled or permanently fails, its reserved points are returned to your available balance. Check the Wallet activity entry for the current status before making another request.
What about fees?
Volcano Rewards converts the amount you request at the points rate shown above and doesn’t charge a fee. GoGift, PayPal and Venmo have their own terms, for example currency conversion; read those before redeeming.
